Lago di Como and Cinque Terre, Italy
(click on the pictures to enlarge)
Lago di Como is a large (crowded) mountain lake north of Milan, with great views and a seaplane port in the town of Como.
Riomaggiore is one of the five villages of the "Cinque Terre," a set of picturesque villages hugging the coast between Genoa and La Spezia. Lots of tourists. You're supposed to work hard and hike between the villages, but it was too hot for that, so here we are living it up (especially Julie with her fruity and alcoholic cocktail)
All pictures are from June 2001.
